Portrush, Co. Antrim
Ramore Head
Ramore head is the end of a one mile long basalt peninsula that Portrush rests on, it rises around 100-200ft above Portrush, from here you can enjoy good views (east) over the town and Inishowen on the Donegal mainland (west). This photo shows a view from the head towards the area known as the promenade. The small group of rocks out in the sea to the left are the"Skerries" and the land to the right is a section of the mainland looking towards Fairhead and Ballycastle.
